January 5th – March 25th, 2010
This is a non-competitive, non-contact alternative hockey program for boys and girls from grades 1-9 beginning in January and running for approximately 11 weeks (weather permitting). All games played at Wildwood Community one weeknight per week with an optional Saturday morning skate (open to all Community members). Players are required to have full hockey gear (stick, skates, helmet with cage, shin pads, elbow pads, hockey/snow pants, cup, shoulder pads (optional), neck guard and gloves). Hockey skills are not required, but players should be proficient at skating forward. Players in grades 4 and older will have an opportunity to play goal with equipment (stick, pads, blocker, catcher and chest protector) provided by the community. This program requires each family to volunteer in some function (Coach, Manager/ Phone Person, Registration, Ice Maintenance, or Family Party) and a community membership is required. Registration fee includes jersey and family windup party.
Registration Date: Saturday, Nov. 14, 2009 10:00am – 12:00pm Wildwood Community Hall
Fee: $30 – reduced if using jersey from last year. 20 player per age group limit.
Gr. 1-3 Thurs. 6:30 – 7:30pm Saturdays 10:00am – noon
Gr. 4-6 Tues. 6:30 – 7:30pm Saturdays 10:00am – noon
Gr. 7-9 Tues. 7:30 – 8:30pm Saturdays 10:00am – noon
